Using Storage

Storage indicates amount of available/used space occupied by your video and image files.

Your Spotlightr storage is being used each time you upload videos directly to your Spotlightr account. You can always check your storage status in Account & Billing:

You can manage your storage effectively by deleting videos that are no longer needed. Removing videos from your account will free up space, allowing you to upload new content without incurring additional costs.

  • Upload Efficiently: Unless your videos are very long or in 4K resolution, the 200 GB storage limit should be sufficient for most users. Consider compressing videos or using lower resolutions to save space.

  • Regular Maintenance: Periodically review and delete videos that are no longer relevant or needed to free up storage.

Each plan includes a total storage allowed which can be reviewed on our pricing page.

Spotlightr calculates storage usage based on the total space required for your uploaded videos, including multiple resolution versions and encryption. This may result in higher storage usage than the original file size.

If you need more storage for your videos on any of our plans then you can simply add more for 3 cents per GB. To do that simply keep adding your videos and we will automatically increase your storage. So there is nothing special that needs to be done, just keep adding your videos and we will bill extra $3 for every 100 GB needed.

All of this storage information can be tracked and checked in the plan and consumption area in the screenshot above. If at any point you feel it's more economical to upgrade your plan, simply click on the Change Plan button also shown in the screenshot above.

If you are interested to know how much storage space is consumed by your video(s), please refer to the article "How do you calculate storage?".
