Chapter markers are great for helping viewers find the content they are after without skipping around and looking blindly.

You add marker points in the video timeline to specific times that mark the beginning of a particular segment or subject.

Here is the live example described below >> please visit this page.

How They Work

While the video plays you see little 'markers' in the timeline:

And when your viewers hovers their mouse over one of the markers it will show a screencap of that part of the video as well as a title specified by you:

How To Configure:

To configure this feature, edit a video and then navigate to the Player tab >> Chapter Markers:

To add specific marker points just click on Add Marker:

You can fill out the Title, Description, Specific time and choose the color of the marker point. Be sure to click on Add Marker once you are done with it.

The title is what shows when you hover over the marker. The description will be shown in the marker list.

How To Configure the Marker Color & Menu

The marker color is set by your Player Colors in your Theme. More information on setting those colors in Player Colors article.

Additional menu options for the Chapter Markers can be found under Advanced Options:

When done just click on the SAVE button.
