It is important to define what "supported" means upfront. In the modern age the possible combinations of browsers and devices are infinite. With this in mind, a supported device or browser refers to out of box installation without any additional software or extensions that could conflict.
In environments which are not listed as supported, most Spotlightr features probably work just fine. However, we are actively testing on and troubleshooting the specified environments below.
Supported mobile devices
Spotlightr looks and performs great across the following mobile devices:
Phones and tablets running on iOS 10+
Phones and tablets running on Android 4.3+
Support within mobile apps
When someone shares a link with you, for example within a messenger app, that link is usually not opened within the device browser. It's usually opened within the app through what is known as an "in-app browser". In such an environment the app developer has full control over which features are and which are not supported and we can do very little about it.
Supported desktop browsers
Major desktop browsers which support Spotlightr are:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Safari
Opera
Internet Explorer 11+
Edge
Unsupported Platforms
Windows Phones
Nokia and Symbian devices
Older Blackberry devices
